EMG PA-V2 P-Bass Active Pickup Set w/Preamp, Black

The EMG PA-V2 is an active pickup set with preamp for P-Bass. The PA-V2 includes two pickups, pre-wired harness and connectors, volume and tone controls, and mounting screws. The PA-V2 system has an embedded high output, low noise preamp for extended frequency range and sonic clarity. The PA is a new bass pickup option based on one of EMG's originals, the P-series pickup. This new addition differs in that it uses Alnico V magnets instead of the ceramic magnets of the original. Because the PA utilizes Alnico V magnets coupled with short, squat coils, the tone is endowed with openness and warmth for a more vintage tone, all with less noise and more signal. We have no doubt that the new PA, with its natural presence, powerful lows, expansive midrange, and superior definition, will be as successful as its predecessor.
