We have designed this series for the performance and weight conscious hunter--those hunters who climb the highest, hunt the longest, and require a no-nonsense blade when it's time to hang the meat on the pole. We reduced the weight by using an integral finger-guard rather than a separate and heavier bolster/finger guard and by designing in two large cutouts in the super strong full-tang handle. These modifications make these knives lighter and result in a perfectly balanced blade with the weight forward towards the tip.
