VELCRO® Brand PS14 Self Adhesive Tape Hook and Loop Sticky Backed Fastener (White, 4 Inch - 5.5 Yards)

The rubber adhesive based VELCRO brand hook and loop fastener is a pressure sensitive adhesive system; the PS14 rubber solution applied to the back of the hook and loop tape, it bonds on contact and cures to its optimum strength in 24 hours to form a permanent fix on suitable substrates. PS14 should be used at room temperature and is suitable for interior use only. The resin is ideally suited to low energy substrates, and can be used confidently on the following surfaces; Anodised Aluminium, Glass, Painted Wallboard, Plywood, Polyester, Stainless Steel, Formica (Polished side only) and Polyacrylic. With reservation VELCRO brand PS14 adhesive can be used on; Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Cardboard and some Fabrics; however, bond strength is limited, the adhesive is not suitable for Vinyl. Note: Not recommended for fabrics, dashboards, flexible vinyl or underwater use. Continued exposure to full sunlight can damage the fastener. Pointed corners on VELCRO brand Hook and Loop tapes are sometimes detrimental to a good bond. We recommend nipping or rounding each corner of the VELCRO brand tape to eliminate this vulnerable area.
